Wise Police Department Explorer Post No. 312 was established in September 1983, and is part of the Sequoyah Council area. Officer Erik Steele is the advisor for the post. The membership is currently 20 members and is the second oldest post in the Sequoyah Council area.

need to know if you're cut out for police work, the Wise Explorer Post may be what you
need.
Explorer Post 312 is located at Wise Police Department in the new Town Hall Building on
West Main Street. The Explorer Post can provide you with valuable experience that
employers look for. We can also provide training usually reserved only for officers,
such as: a ride-along program, rappelling, physical agility courses, firearms
training, and directing traffic. Explorers 18 years of age and older can take part
in ASP Tactical Baton and Pepper Spray Certification.
