| Exploring Is... Exploring is the young-adult program of the Boy Scouts of American for men and women aged 14 through 20. The program is developed by local community organizations such as businesses, industries, professional organizations, churches, and civic groups that match the interests of young adults with the program resources of the organization. For example, a computer center could design a program in computers and invite Explorer-age youth interested in data processing to join or a church might have a number of outdoor-minded adult members who could provide leadership and program help to an outdoor Explorer post. These community organizations support their post in three major ways. They provide the following:
